What does Pride mean to you?

Pride means being radically yourself. Taking up space and not allowing anyone to diminish your shine.

How does Indy Drag Theatre connect you to community?

We have so many diverse opportunities at IDT. There really is a place for everyone. And we are fortunate to see all kinds of people come through our doors. Once you step in, you’re family.

What is an IDT moment that filled you with Pride?

Watching all of my friends perform “Freak Flag” in Shrek, last year.

What do you want everyone to keep in mind this Pride season?

They MUST continue to show up and support. Share our posts online, tell your friends. Now is not the time to be silent. Especially with the current political climate.
