Geo Bonilla celebrates Pride!

IDT is proud to introduce our current board members as we celebrate Pride 2025:
Geo Bonilla (he/him) is an IDT Board Member at large.

What does Pride mean to you?

A reminder to those that are afraid to come out that they are not alone, we are here and we are visible. It also reminds us that our rights are not guaranteed and always under attack.

How does Indy Drag Theatre connect you to community?

At the beginning of the AIDS epidemic, it was the drag community that took a stand, performed and raised money for those living with HIV/AIDS. IDT continues to honor and evolve this art form that is part of our LGBTQ+ history.

What is an IDT moment that filled you with Pride?

To see individuals that are not part of the LGBTQ+ community's reaction and engagement. They discover that this is not a threat to anyone, but actually an art form to be enjoyed.

What do you want everyone to keep in mind this Pride season?

Be vigilant, get involved and vote.
